The UMX/UM4 series has a variety of new functions that can meet the individual needs of any building. There is a new control system that simplifies the commissioning and operation of multiple indoor units. A combination of wall, cassettes, ducted and ceiling mounted units can be connected to the UMX and UM4 series of multi systems.

Inverter "UMX" series (right)

Up to a maximum of 12 indoor units with a capacity of 135% of the outdoor unit can be connected. Capacity control is operated by means of a linear inverter control refrigerant system complete with load tracking to ensure a fully optimised and comfortable air conditioned environment.

Combination "UM4" Series (left)

Based on the same principle as the "UMX" series, up to four condensing units can be combined to provide a total capacity of up to 38HP utilising a single set of pipes. It is possible to connect up to 32 indoor units with a maximum capacity of up to 120% of the total outdoor condensing capacity by means of operating fixed speed compressors and a refrigerant by-pass control system.
